East Burn Trail

 

The WEST BURN and EAST BURN TRAILS are both shellrock trails. Fossilized sea shells are scattered everywhere!

 

Cabbage Palms

 

These burned Cabbage Palms show where controlled burns were done. This is necessary to destroy invasive exotics and to control understory overgrowth.

 

 

Water lily pads cover the North Pond at the end of the East Burn Trail.
