|   Ferns, Ferns, and more Ferns ! Almost everwhere you look, you can see ferns! The park has 32 different species of ferns. There are aquatic, terrestrial, and epiphytic ferns. They can be found all over the park.  |

The 
          Swamp and Marsh Ferns were the two most common ferns seen in the park. 
          The give cover to many small animals like frogs and lizards.  |

      This interesting fern 
            is named "Resurrection" fern because in periods of drought 
            and low moisture, it withers up and appears to be dead. When moisture 
            returns, the fern unfurls and is green and "alive" again
